Savoury Mmm....Mmuffins

I made these for a pooled supper at fundraising Ceilidh (Teenage Cancer Ward, RVI Newcastle). I love pooled suppers; it always amazes me that everyone brings such a variety of fayre, I suppose people all have their own favourite recipes. The stars of the show for me were definitely the mini banoffee pies, or maybe the strawberry meringues, or the honey mustard sausages.......... needless to say I had a very full plate.
That kind of party always makes me feel quite nostalgic about birthday teas from my youth. Anyway, it was a fun evening and £1700 was raised, well done Auntie Liz!
They're pretty easy as you can imagine and great to put your own spin on. These ones were cheese and herb with a cream cheese piped filling. Thought I'd better put the additional chives on to indicate that they were a savoury muffin. Think i may try a pear, walnut and Gorgonzola version next time. Recipe will follow, promise...
